About us
Established in August of 2022, the Basha Bear Network is a fully student-run, nationally recognized school news network that produces media about Basha High School and the surrounding Chandler-Gilbert community. The program is part of Basha High School’s TV and Film Production class, located in Chandler, Arizona.
What we do
Here at the Basha Bear Network, we record, edit, and produce media for our school. We have a weekly newscast which premieres every Friday at 10:30 a.m. Livestream dates vary by season; see the calendar below for information.

Tate Fitzpatrick
President
Tate is a Junior at Basha and one of the Presidents of the Basha Bear Network. Tate is the Play-By-Play Commentator for every Varsity Sports Broadcast, an anchor in our competitions, and one of the hosts of the sports podcast ‘Table Talk’. -

Christian Damiano
President
Christian is a Junior at Basha and one of the Presidents of the Basha Bear Network. Christian is the Executive Producer and the Primary Director for all Sports Broadcasts and the director of the sports podcast ‘Table Talk’. -

Maddelynn Smith
Vice President
Maddelynn is a Junior at Basha and the Vice President of the Basha Bear Network. Maddelynn is the Anchor and Writer for every Newscast, as well as an Anchor for our competitions and the Sideline Reporter for all Varsity Sports Broadcasts. -

Shruthi Rajesh
Secretary
Shruthi is a Sophomore at Basha and is the Secretary of the Basha Bear Network. Shruthi is one of the Directors for the Weekly Newscast and JV Broadcasts, and a host for the all-girls podcast ‘Basha Bear Buzz.’ -

Treasurer
